What You’ll Do

We'll be teaching you about the major components of a Bambu Lab printer, give a beginner's guide to first-time setup and printer preparation. Then you'll get to learn how to prepare and slice your model before printing. In this workshop, you get to design and print your own 3D printed clickers and keep them after the session ended.

Recommended duration: 1.5-2 hours.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify the major components of a Bambu Lab printer.
  • Perform basic first-time setup and printer preparation.
  • Understand the roles of Bambu Handy, Bambu Studio and MakerWorld.
  • Find and evaluate suitable models on MakerWorld.
  • Prepare and slice a model in Bambu Studio.
  • Understand basic layer height, walls, infill, supports, orientation and material settings.
  • Select suitable beginner-friendly filament materials.
  • Start and monitor a print confidently.
  • Recognise common beginner printing failures and basic fixes.
  • Perform simple routine printer maintenance.
  • Understand the pathway from downloading models to remixing and designing original products.
